    At VARTECH 2012, Datalogic exhibited its Gryphon Healthcare Scanner. The Gryphon features disinfectant-ready enclosures made of plastic and rubber that is resistant to chemical cleaning.

    Among the products Datamax-O’Neil featured at VARTECH 2012 was its E-Class Mark III desktop thermal printer. It’s designed to be used most often in manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and shipping.

    This video from VARTECH 2012 features Zebra’s QLn line of mobile printers. They are designed to print bar code labels, receipts, and tickets among other applications. The primary verticals for the QLn are warehousing and retail.

    Business Solutions magazine's Editor-In-Chief Mike Monocello recently attended the Motorola Solutions Partner Expo 2012 in Las Vegas. The event, held at the Aria, was attended by about 3,000 Motorola partners and spanned three days. Based on the keynote presentations and interviews Monocello had with head executives at Motorola, it was clear that Motorola is making a strong push in 2012 to empower its solutions providers to offer solutions (as opposed to just products).
