The world remains Alan Weinberger’s oyster. After earning a bachelor’s degree and JD from New York University and a Master of Laws from Harvard, the modern-day Renaissance man set off on a career journey (after a few years on Wall Street at a major law firm) that refuses conventional definitions. He served as the founding professor at the Vermont Law School. He worked with the Soviet Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations to create academic programs that taught Western management and marketing strategies to high-level Soviet managers, and he even wrote the book on the subject and called it White Paper to Reform Business Education in Russia. Then he founded The ASCII Group.
