Zenith Infotech Spins Off Zenith RMM

Sarah's BSM Team Headshots

Zenith Infotech, a vendor that's been known in the channel for its RMM (remote monitoring and management), private cloud, and business continuity offerings, recently spun off its RMM division into a separate company called Zenith RMM. I caught up with Zenith Infotech's CEO, Akash Saraf, who shared some of the reasons behind the decision. "We felt that with our broad product lines, we weren't giving our RMM division enough R&D dollars and other attention it deserved," he says. "We feel this move will also help the RMM business attract more senior management bench strength," which was another goal.

I later spoke with Michael George, CEO of Zenith RMM, to get his thoughts on Zenith RMM's focus. "The first area we're turning our attention to is platform support," says George. "Specifically, we're looking at adding Mac OS support as well as support for various mobile devices." George indicated that Zenith RMM is focusing a lot of its efforts reaching out to its 3,000 channel partners – both large and small – to learn about their needs and where they believe Zenith RMM should focus its efforts. "We expect to have a detailed roadmap ready by sometime in Q1 2012," says George.
