The featured content on Day 3 of the RSPA INSPIRE Conference Jan. 28 in Maui was a panel discussion titled “EMV & The POS Ecosystem: Forming effective partnerships and capitalizing on the EMV shift opportunity.” Panelists were John Badovinic, senior manager of acquirer relations at Discover Financial Services, Paul Leduc president of Globe POS Systems, Matt Downs SVP of channel — integrated payments for Mercury Payment Systems, a Vantiv company, and Chester Ritchie SVP at WorldPay. RSPA CEO and president Kelly Funk moderated the panel.
Panelists discuss EMV in 2015 and beyond in this exclusive Business Solutions video, including predictions regarding who have EMV-enabled systems on October 1, that 2015 will be the “year of education,” and that the U.S. will follow other countries in mandating EMV systems by law.
