VeriFone Releases PAYware PC Version 1.0.3
VeriFone Holdings announces the release of PAYware PC™ version 1.0.3, its state-of-the-art PC-based payment processing solution for small-to-medium-sized merchants.
PAYware PC version 1.0.3 offers the following new features:
PAYware PC is a perfect blend of results-inspired styling and business-driven substance, PAYware PC provides secure, end-to-end payment processing and a multitude of advanced features complimented by an intuitive interface based on Microsoft Office 2007.

· Added support for the BAMS FACTS payment processing network – PAYware PC's certifications with BAMS FACTS include credit, debit, and EBT for retail, MOTO, e-commerce, and restaurant transactions. (This payment processing company was formerly known as NPC)
· Added support for the First Data North payment processing network – PAYware PC's certifications with First Data North include credit and debit for retail, MOTO, e-commerce, and restaurant transactions.
· Added user interface configuration support for MX830, MX850, and MX860 – PAYware PC now allows for the simple setup and configuration of these hardware solutions from VeriFone's MX800 Series. Previously, configuration for these devices was only accessible via integration.
· Swipe-ahead support – This feature applies to standalone PAYware PC installations that are utilizing an MX800 Series (MX830, MX850, MX860, or MX870) hardware solution from VeriFone. As of version 1.0.3, the MX device will display a card swipe prompt when idle. When a customer swipes a card through the MX device, a transaction is initiated which must then be completed by the cashier. Previously, the cashier had to initiate the transaction before the customer could swipe his or her card.
· Signature capture – This feature applies to standalone PAYware PC installations that are utilizing an MX800 Series (MX830, MX850, or MX860) hardware solution from VeriFone. After the signature is captured by the device, PAYware PC stores it for future use (payment resolutions, reprinting receipts, etc.). Previously, this feature was only available for the MX870.
· Added support for the First Data North payment processing network – PAYware PC's certifications with First Data North include credit and debit for retail, MOTO, e-commerce, and restaurant transactions.
