Toshiba Announces Restructuring Designed To Further Strengthen Managed Print, Professional Services And Field Support Programs
Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) recently announced a reorganization designed to better align resources to the company's key strategic initiatives. With the continued expansion of its managed print and professional services programs, these organizational changes position TABS to more effectively support existing and new customers by enhancing sales, technical and marketing offerings.
"As a managed print pioneer, we've experienced explosive growth in our programs over the past seven years. This action enables us to aggressively expand our Professional Services organization to ensure the continued delivery of high quality programs and services," said Bill Melo, vice president, Marketing, Services and Solutions, TABS.
This realignment includes the creation of the Professional Services and Advanced Technology Group, which combines several functional teams together with significant expansion of the Toshiba Professional Services field organization. Additionally, several positions have been created within the Product Marketing and Implementation teams to further bolster their capabilities.
As a result of the reorganization, several staff have been promoted to new roles.
- Peter Davey is now director, Professional Services and Advanced Technical Support.
- Chris Applegate will assume the role of director, Client Services.
- Sally Anderson has been promoted to the role of director, Marketing and Communications.
- Mike Briante will assume the role of director, Service Operations.
