Tech Data U.S. Announces 2008 Vendor Partner Award Winners

CLEARWATER, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tech Data Corporation (NASDAQ:TECD) today recognized seven of the industry's leading IT hardware and software producers with its fourth annual Vendor Partner Awards. The awards were presented at Tech Data's annual Vendor Partner Summit in Orlando, where more than 400 technology executives, and sales and marketing professionals were in attendance to preview the distributor's 2009 marketing campaigns.

Cisco – The Difference Maker

Cisco was honored as The Difference Maker, the most prestigious of Tech Data's Vendor Partner Awards. During the last year, Tech Data and Cisco continued to strengthen their partnership through marketing initiatives, most notably the development of CapacityBuilder and other custom programs and resources to enhance support for Cisco resellers capitalizing on the demand for networking solutions among small and medium businesses (SMBs) nationwide.

Oracle – Best SMB-Focused Vendor Partner
