SYSPRO U.S. Accelerates VAR Partner Channel In ERP Market

COSTA MESA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SYSPRO, a provider of visionary ERP for the manufacturing pragmatist, has today announced plans to accelerate the company's successful value-added-reseller (VAR) channel partner program by at least 20 percent over the next 12 months. The company simultaneously announced the hiring of IT industry channel veteran Brenda Nobleza to head the program. She will be based out of the company's US Headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA.

Nobleza brings in-depth channel relations experience to SYSPRO from past similar positions at Epicor and Softbrands. She will be tasked with leading SYSPRO's channel development acceleration program, including recruiting new "super VAR" partners to champion SYSPRO's key vertical initiatives. Nobleza will head SYSPRO's already strong channel relationship and training initiatives, assist in maintaining continuity with existing partners and further strengthen and contribute to business and sales plan development as it intersects the VAR program.

SYSPRO is one of the world's leading ERP providers to mid-market manufacturers and distributors with more than 14,000 licensed companies globally. Its 30-year history of maintaining a successful model selling through a VAR channel is considered by many industry consultants and analysts to be among the best in the mid-market ERP space.

"SYSPRO's global distribution model is heavily geared towards partners for sales and implementations, which has also proven to be quite advantageous to the company," said Predrag Jakovljevic, Research Director, Technology Evaluation Centers in TEC's 2008 blog, "Surviving Amid ‘ERP Sharks' as a "Visionary Vendor for the Pragmatic User." "The [SYSPRO] partners are experts in both sales and implementations and have the regional and vertical market expertise. In each geographic region where SYSPRO has strong presence, the dominant sales and implementations model is via partnerships."

Over the past 12 months, SYSPRO has delivered a series of verticalized functionality to its suite of enterprise applications, specifically focusing on four industries that have been challenged by materials and energy price spikes, as well as rapidly changing industry regulation. These verticals – food, medical devices, electronics, and machinery/equipment, will be the focus of the VAR expansion program, as well as extensions into new U.S. regional geographies.

"We are seeing strong buy-in to our micro vertical go-to-market approach that is allowing us to offer world class and cost-effective solutions for the small and mid-sized manufacturing and distributor," said Joey Benadretti, president, SYSPRO U.S. "While the rest of the ERP market is struggling to get its channel partners launched, we are well ahead on the curve with a strong track record of integrity and commitment with our partners. We will be growing on this reputation and the strength of our solution set."

SYSPRO's more thoughtful approach to adopting new technology, such as web services and SOA platforms, also reflects the desires of its buyers who are driven by business needs and not by the latest headlines. This exemplifies SYSPRO's ongoing strategy of helping to simplify the success of its customers. SYSPRO calls its buyer landscape "PragmaVision,"™ consisting of pragmatic, visionary ERP executives that are driven by a desire for smart, but aggressive market growth.
