Sterling Payment Technologies recently announced that it is providing the encrypted credit card reader for the just-released Aldelo Touch, a restaurant point of sale (POS) solution developed by Aldelo, LP for the iPad and iPad Mini. Sterling’s SecureSwipe is the only card reader that provides point-to-point encryption for Aldelo Touch, which stands out from other mobile payment apps because it offers the features typically found in traditional restaurant POS systems, such as customizable menu panels, complex order entry, kitchen print routing, and table management.
