6 Steps On The Trail To Being Paper Free

We seem to have been talking about the paper free office for an age, but it is still far from a reality, despite our increasingly digital lifestyles. Yet the commitment is still there to use less paper in the workplace and there are strong signs that significant progress isn’t too far away.
The goal of paper-free processes in the workplace isn’t just about conservation and environmental protection, although these are important benefits. It is about improving productivity and communications, enabling businesses to reach out to their customers faster and more efficiently, and making the most of opportunities.
Organizations that have taken the step to using less paper have seen that it can benefit the bottom line just as much as it can contribute to saving the planet. According to AIIM’s new study, Paper-Free Progress: measuring outcomes, a staggering 84 percent of respondents have seen ROI on their paper-free projects within 18 months, while the biggest benefits from going paper-free were seen as quicker response time to customers and overall increased productivity.
