Social Marketing Tool, POS Solution Increase Reseller's Business 40%

A cold call to a pizzeria led this reseller to a POS sale that also included payment processing recurring revenue.

The merchant services industry generates billions of dollars in revenues each year, and there are a lot of players trying to capture a piece of the pie — a pizza pie in the case of NACS, a reseller of POS, social marketing, and merc hant service solutions.

“Merchant services have become so cutthroat that, as a reseller, we have to create value around the transaction by improving our clients’ business,” says Mark Alexander, national director at NACS. This is what he did with one of its pizzeria clients, Gino & Joe’s Pizzeria, which was making a profit, but, “They had no idea why customers came into the pizzeria, how to ensure that customers returned to the restaurant, or why customers chose this restaurant over the competition.”
