snom technology AG Moves US Headquarters To New Facilities In Woburn

New office prepares international IP Phone maker for anticipated rapid growth

snom technology AG, a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced voice over IP phones for enterprises, has moved its North American headquarters to Woburn, Massachusetts to accommodate the company's recent, and anticipated, growth. The new facility will become home to 40 percent of snom's worldwide employees, including sales, support, marketing and product development functions in North and South America.

Well-known as a maker of some of the world's most heralded IP desktop phones, snom technology has expanded its product line over the past few years to include a broader swath of IP telephony products. At the same time, snom's seamless integration with leading unified communications platforms and all SIP based VoIP services from premise based IPPBXs to cloud and hosted VoIP environments, has made the company more than just a maker of phones, but a developer of highly-functional enterprise endpoints for IP communications. The new facility will support that growth in both North and South America.

"With the popularity of our products growing in North and South America, we needed more space to support our sales and operations in the region, but we wanted to stay in the same area as our previous office," said Dr. Christian Stredicke, founder and CEO of snom technology. "This move is symbolic of our recent successes and marks a significant moment in the growth of snom, not just in the Americas, but as an international player in the IP telephony market."

Founded in Germany in 1996, snom has become one of the premiere providers of voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) desktop phones in the world through a combination of award-winning firmware for high-quality functionality and unique product design. snom's suite of VoIP phones includes advanced IP phones such as the snom 3xx series, full-color touchscreen desktop phones such as the snom 870, wireless DECT phones such as the m3, and related endpoints, such as the PA1 paging system and the MeetingPoint conference phone. As unified communications systems have proliferated, the advanced technology and open standards in every snom product has proven to be an ideal combination for providing enterprises with cost-effective and feature-rich IP telephony.
