Siemens Enterprise Communications Joins With SYNNEX To Focus On Channel
Siemens Enterprise Communications Group, a provider of enterprise communications solutions, has announced a strategic business relationship with SYNNEX Corp. Siemens Enterprise Communications Groups entire portfolio, which includes complete end-to-end solutions for voice, data, video and security, will become flagship products offered through SYNNEX Integrated Communications Group (ICG).
SYNNEX network of more than 15,000 resellers is a key part of Siemens North American channel focus. In addition to having access to the full Siemens portfolio, which allows for a layered or incremental approach to unified communications (UC) based on an organizations need, SYNNEX and its resellers will also have access to Siemens global services infrastructure. This will allow them to quickly provide high-quality services and standards-based UC solutions across multivendor environments. By extending their existing services capabilities and offering a more tailored approach, SYNNEX resellers can not only ensure that they have the right products in place to quickly meet client requirements, but they can also ensure they have the right skill sets to shorten time to market.
"Our agreement with SYNNEX underscores our dedication to the North American market and will significantly expand our ability to drive adoption of next generation UC technologies," says Michael Garland, senior VP of North American alliances and channels for Siemens Enterprise Communications Group. "By making it easier and more profitable for our partners to distribute our solutions and giving them the support they need to succeed, we are also reinforcing our commitment to the channel. We understand that their success is our success."
Both companies also share a commitment to help enterprise customers integrate UC solutions into their business processes. With Siemens OpenScape portfolios OpenSOA approach and OpenPath commitment to extensibility, SYNNEX resellers can minimize integration pain points and costs, while giving customers the security of knowing that their UC solutions will grow with them.
"We carefully evaluated Siemens offerings and determined that its open architecture, single vendor platform for UC, including data and security products, plus its unmatched support levels will give our large reseller base the extra edge it needs to succeed in these challenging times," said Peter Larocque, president of U.S. distribution at SYNNEX Corp. "Together we can provide the agility and cost-effective solutions that organizations need to embrace UC today and allow them to start taking advantage of improved collaboration and reduced conferencing costs."
