Case Study: PAETEC Provides Entertainment Company With Diverse Solution Set

The Challenge
As a large international company with locations scattered all over the world, SPE must support a massive telecommunications network – their U.S. network alone serves 10 sites, including 1,110 different departments and 200 production studios. When dealing with a network of that size, it can be difficult to keep everything up and running all of the time, which is why SPE focuses heavily on having sufficient redundancy in their voice network.

SPE contracted a great deal of their voice services through AT&T, and, in an attempt to increase the redundancy of their network, they also employed services from Time Warner, Sprint, and a number of other service providers. Despite their diverse array of providers, SPE still encountered frequent network issues, and attempting to remedy them seemed to be a never-ending battle.
