With 123Scan², staging is faster and more accurate. This utility offers a patent-pending industry first — the ability to automatically detect and establish 2-way communication with your scanners — without scanning a bar code. Users can download parameters and firmware in one easy step. Settings can be saved in a configuration file that can then be distributed via email, electronically downloaded directly to a scanner via a USB or RS-232 cable, or utilized to generate programming bar codes — including a traditional 1D, concatenated 1D or a single scan 2D bar code. And the addition of one or more USB hubs enable batch staging — the simultaneous configuration of multiple scanners.
