Security-As-A-Service (SECaaS) Provider My Digital Shield Announces Newly Appointed Advisory Board

Industry veterans from Google, Fortinet, and White Ops bring network security expertise to elevate thought leadership in the small business and channel markets

The board members include three security industry veterans: Robert May from Fortinet, Steve Padgett from Google, and Eddie Schwartz from White Ops. The advisory board brings decades of industry expertise to help My Digital Shield accelerate growth and position itself successfully in the small business and channel markets.

Robert May, Vice President, Product Management, Fortinet, Inc.
Robert May currently serves as Vice President of Product Management at Fortinet, Inc. He has more than 15 years of experience in development and product management in the security and network industry. Prior to joining Fortinet, Robert held a number of software engineering and software architecture roles.

Steve Padgett, Network Architecture, Google, Inc.
A network security expert with a nearly 20-year career, Steve has extensive experience in building and running IT departments, as well as in operations, engineering, security, and network architecture. Steve is now responsible for the Internet edge and backbone architecture at Google, Inc., focused specifically on the design and oversight of large-scale operating networks.

Eddie Schwartz, President and Chief Operating Officer, White Ops, Inc.
A cyber security expert with more than 25 years of experience in the information security industry, Eddie has held a number of senior leadership positions throughout his career. He currently advises early stage security companies and serves on a number of industry committees including the Strategic Advisory Council for ISACA. He also teaches courses at George Mason University as an adjunct professor.
