Remember, It's All About Me. 5 Things To Know When Selling To Millennials

Brace yourself, millennials are coming. 

By 2020, 50 percent of the U.S. workforce will be millennials. Can you even imagine? Times, they are a changing. Think about that for a minute, half the people you will sell to, will be a millennial. 

I am fascinated by generational differences, and none is more fascinating to me than millennials. They’re responsible for one of the largest demographics shifts we will see in modern times. I am a millennial, which is usually defined as someone born between 1980 and the mid-2000’s. I also work with a very young and vibrant team. And let me tell you, we are definitely from Uranus… ROFL. 

Millennials, as I am sure you know by now, think and act very differently than the rest of the population. You can lament the character flaws of millennials all you want. We’re entitled, narcissistic, infuriating. It doesn’t matter. You need to learn how to embrace us, love us and cater to us. They could mean your quota.
