Describe the most innovative installation/solution you’ve been involved in recently.

A tableside ordering and payment solution on the Norwegian Escape Cruise ship in the Caribbean 

What is the biggest threat to your business? What are you doing about it?

Being able to get the correct talent to be able to service our clients. 

What is the biggest opportunity for your business? What are you doing to take advantage of it?

Legacy POS failing and people looking to migrate to a cloud POS system to take advantages of the new technology. 

What emerging technology will have the biggest impact on your business and why?

Mobility and the secure payment process changes

What technology do you wish you had embraced sooner and why?

Making our platform available in multiple OS platforms.  Having only iOS for years made for a select group of clients to use our tool.

Where do you see the channel in 10 years?

Services and value add will be the reason the channel will exist.  Software, service and consulting will be the ways we make money.  No longer will margin be made on the hardware. 

What about your company culture attracts new employees and helps retrain current ones?

Our atmosphere. People enjoy coming to work and working with the team members that are here.  We work hard but always have a good time while doing so. 

What advice would you give to a VAR/MSP/ISV new to the channel?

Make sure you listen to your customers.  They know what they want.  Help them get what they want, and they will help you build your business.

If you weren’t a VAR/MSP/ISV what would you be doing?

Teaching or selling some other technology.
