You probably wouldn't expect organizations that follow a regimented, military management structure to have any trouble with task management. But, unlike direct orders, which follow a simple chain of command, managing day-to-day tasks can be daunting. Implementing a military-focused workflow solution was the challenge facing WaterWare Internet Services, a Web-based software development VAR specializing in Xerox DocuShare technologies.

The VAR's responsibility was to integrate and customize the Dralasoft/Autonomy Workflow engine embedded in the DocuShare platform for a governmental client. "One of our client's primary requirements was not just that we could store lots of data," says Mark Waters, CEO of WaterWare.
