The Fortune 500 publisher wanted to provide iPhones for as many as 2000 employees, delivering the devices through a streamlined process that would create "an excellent out-of-box experience." Historically reliant on Blackberry technology, the publisher quickly realized that supporting a multi-platform mobility environment would not be easy to achieve with internal resources, nor desirable as more mobility platforms are authorized. After conducting a pilot to assess their capacity to handle the project, they realized they would need to find a mobility partner to efficiently carry out an enterprise-wide rollout to meet a very tight deadline.
