4 Presentations You Missed At The Philadelphia Smart VAR Summit

The Smart VAR Summit: Age Of Intelligence – IoT, Cloud, & Mobility Convergence, powered by ScanSource, Zebra Technologies, and Business Solutions on October 14 at Lincoln Financial Field featured outstanding educational presentations from some of the channel’s leading experts and vendors. The event included these sessions for solutions providers:

• Jim Roddy, president of Business Solutions magazine, and Mike Monocello, editor in chief of Business Solutions magazine, had a Q&A session discussing industry trends around IoT. Monocello referenced the 2015 Field Mobility Report, featured in Business Solutions sister publication Field Technologies magazine.
   
• Larry Walsh and Diana Mirakaj of The 2112 Group delivered a keynote address called, “The Channel Theory of Everything.”
   
• Jill Stelfox, VP & General Manager of Location Solutions at Zebra Technologies, presented “Motion Analytics 2025: The Future of Sports Analytics.” Her presentation gave an in-depth look at Zebra’s NFL player tracking solution.
   
• Tom Bianculli, VP of the Enterprise Technology Office at Zebra Technologies, gave a presentation called “Enterprise Asset Intelligence.” He explained the impact of 30 billion connected smart IoT devices being deployed by 2020, and how IoT, mobility, and cloud convergence present an opportunity for solutions providers.
