POS Solutions Provider Reduces Costs And Improves Efficiency For Restaurant Clients
Casey Lozano spent years honing his POS expertise as a senior installer of Micros systems in Arizona working for a regional dealer. In 2014, Lozano embarked on his own, and was intent on starting a business focused on what he had been doing — installing POS systems. It was during a conversation with a Harbortouch representative that Lozano was presented with a more attractive, life-changing offer.
“He asked me why I was settling on doing installations for someone else when I could make a lot more money selling the POS systems and merchant processing,” recalls Lozano. “At the time, I didn’t know anything about credit cards, so I didn’t think something like becoming a Harbortouch reseller was an option.” On the contrary, Lozano was told he was the perfect candidate to become an agent due to his POS expertise. The credit card knowledge could be easily learned and Harbortouch would assist him as he got up to speed.
It wasn’t long before Lozano created his own POS business, AZ POS-Micro Solutions, focused on excellent customer support, merchant processing, and the sale and installation of new POS systems. It also wasn’t long before Lozano was winning deals for his new company.
One such win came from Valle Luna Mexican Restaurants, with whom Lozano had a longstanding relationship with the owners. The chain of three restaurants was looking to migrate away from its current POS platform for a variety of reasons.
