POS Hardware: NCR And Microsoft Deliver POS Application For The Independent Retailer
NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) announced today the release of a point of sale (POS) solution combining Microsoft Retail Management System software and the full line of NCR RealPOS POS hardware.
The solution is designed for small to midsize specialty and general merchandise retailers, and will be sold exclusively by the reseller community through ScanSource, an NCR RealPartner and authorized distributor of NCR and Microsoft products. The NCR RealPartner program is a tiered marketing program that provides NCR channel and alliance partners with the sales, marketing and support tools they need to be successful with NCR products.

Microsoft Retail System Management is being demonstrated with the NCR RealPOS 30 POS terminal in the NCR booth at the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) show in Reno, Nev., July 24-26.
