Orbograph And Scan-Optics Announce Partnership
Orbograph, a leading developer of recognition solutions, today announced that it has signed a teaming agreement with Scan-Optics, LLC, an internationally acknowledged innovator and provider of information capture and recognition solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, Scan-Optics will provide Orbograph's Key-Pay® Convene™ remote data repair solution to its existing and prospective clients worldwide. In order to improve the data quality, recognition accuracy and ROI of their existing imaging and forms processing applications, customers can choose to implement Key-Pay Convene's full service remote data entry/correction capabilities or leverage their existing data entry resources by selecting the Convene infrastructure-only option.
"We are constantly looking for ways to help our customers improve their competitive advantage, and boosting recognition rates and processing turnaround times can have significant positive results," stated Paul Yantus, President and CEO of Scan-Optics. "We believe our partnership with Orbograph and the Key-Pay Convene product will offer our customers more options to improve business efficiencies within their imaging and forms processing environments, resulting in a superior overall solution."
Leveraging Orbograph's patented Key-Pay technology, Key-Pay Convene is a fully Internet-based data entry/repair solution that streamlines business processes, reduces costs and increases the accuracy and efficiency of automated forms processing activities. Key-Pay Convene works by automatically sending image snippets of only those individual fields in a form that contain characters which cannot be read by the recognition engine, to a virtually unlimited pool of data repair personnel for review and correction. While operating offline in a single or dual pass mode, Key-Pay Convene monitors and verifies quality, accuracy and throughput. Key-Pay Convene works in unison with existing forms processing applications to deliver near-100% automated recognition. As a result, forms can be processed with greater speed and accuracy, resulting in significant reductions in both operating costs and problems normally associated with seasonal/peak staffing issues.
"Scan-Optics has long been a leader in the world of imaging and recognition, and we are very excited to bring this partnership to the marketplace," stated Avikam Baltsan, Co-General Manager and CTO at Orbograph. "We look forward to working together to provide Key-Pay Convene's superior capabilities to the Scan-Optics client base."
