Octera Solutions Expands Altera Partnership

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Octera Solutions announced today it has expanded its design services business by signing a Value Added Reseller (VAR) partnership agreement with Altera Corporation (NASDAQ:ALTR). In establishing its new channel model in North America, Octera Solutions is providing broadbase customers solution and device level expertise, support as well as logistics.

It is becoming increasingly important to engage with customers early in the design process to help incorporate new products and technologies into their designs. Octera's experience as an Altera Certified Design Center (CDC) partner will provide the basis for a more collaborative role in customers' new product development, starting at the architectural phase.
