Nine Hyland Software Customers Named To Top Digital Counties List
Hyland Software, Inc., developer of the OnBase enterprise content management (ECM) software suite, today announced that nine of its county government customers were recognized as Top Digital Counties by the Center for Digital Government at the 2005 Digital Counties Survey awards reception in Honolulu, Hawaii. Honorees were acknowledged during the 2005 NACo Annual Conference and Exposition.
Hyland customers that were recognized are: Arlington County, VA.; Westchester County, N.Y.; Sedgwick County, KS.; Seminole County, FL.; Richland County, S.C.; Marin County, CA; Frederick County, MD.; Napa County, CA; and Delaware County, OH.
In April of 2005, all counties in the United States were invited to participate in the 2005 Digital Counties Survey. County officials responded to a set of 22 questions that included more than 95 measurements or data points. The survey grouped counties into four population categories: 500,000 or more; 250,000-499,999; 150,000-249,999; and less than 150,000. A top-10 ranking was established for each category.
"The recognition that these counties obtained represents their progressive stance in helping their citizens receive more timely and accurate information, leading to the reduction of taxpayer funded man-hours," said Bill Priemer, executive VP and COO at Hyland Software.
