Next Level Security Systems Unveils The NLSS Gateway 3000
Unified platform integrates traditional separate subsystems into a single networked appliance from the ground up to reduce need for complex integration
Next Level Security Systems, a developer of a new breed of unified, networked security solutions, recently releases the NLSS Gateway 3000, a networked solution that combines the critical elements of a sophisticated physical security system with enterprise-class capabilities into a single platform.
The NLSS Gateway 3000 integrates networked video management, IP access control, video analytics and intrusion from the ground up. This unique approach allows data from these traditionally separate subsystems to be correlated without custom integration, while combined data is available to users through a single, intuitive user interface. The innovation of combining these applications into one platform enhances a user's situational awareness without complex installation or software development.
"The complete line of NLSS Gateway solutions delivers the best of video management functionality and combines it with IP access control, video analytics and intrusion detection in an extremely cost-effective package," said Pete Jankowski, CEO and Chairman, Next Level Security Systems. "We are excited to announce the NLSS Gateway 3000 as it enables us to bring our industry-leading capabilities to a new customer segment while continuing to maximize user expectations and easing integration challenges for our partners."
The NLSS Gateway 3000 supports up to 32 channels of 720p HD IP video feeds at 30fps and 70 Mb/s throughput, and manages access control readers and panels for up to 256 doors. It integrates compact flash backup for user data and configuration parameters, flash memory and includes 2TB internal disk space.
The NLSS Gateway 3000, along with the NLSS Gateway Micro, easily scales as user needs expand, and delivers advanced features such as auto discovery and auto provisioning of edge devices, including cameras and access control hardware. It also includes a wide range of video analytics, including people counting, directional people counting, trip wire, face capture, activity detection and perimeter detection, at no extra charge.
When combined with NLSS Remote Management Services, users have the ability to access, configure and monitor all features of the NLSS Gateway 3000 across multiple sites from any location through Web browsers and mobile devices.
"Managed security services are gaining a significant amount of attention as it enables end users to streamline security operations and resellers to build a RMR model," said Jumbi Edulbehram, Vice President of Business Development, Next Level Security Systems. "The NLSS Gateway 3000 combined with NLSS Remote Management Services provides the option to manage security systems across multiple sites from anywhere in the world. Furthermore, users gain an overall view of all their security operations."
Based on PSIA and ONVIF specifications, the NLSS Gateway 3000 is part of a family of unified networked solutions including the NLSS HD Media Decoder, and a full line of NLSS Access Control edge devices, including access control panels, readers and card technologies. Next Level's solutions also integrate with IP-enabled access control vendors, such as ASSA ABLOY, HID Global and Mercury, and industry leading brands of IP-based surveillance cameras.
