From NRF 2010: New All-In-One POS System From HP
At the NRF Big Show 2010, HP unveiled its ap5000 all-in-One POS system with a 5-wire resistive touch screen, integrated mag-stripe reader, 2 line customer-facing display (an optional 10.4-inch LCD is shown in the below video), and built in peripheral drivers.
Additionally, the unit is available with either an Intel Core 2 Duo or a lower cost Celeron processor. A 64 GB solid state drive is available as an option or you can run the unit with two hard drives and enable RAID for redundancy.
Finally, the terminal has 6 USB ports, 3 serial ports, can support up to 4 GB of SDRAM, and is available March 22, 2010.
