New Aldelo EDC 6.2 Supports Retail And Canada
Aldelo Systems, a leading provider of hospitality technology solutions, today announced a new version of Aldelo EDC, a point-of-sale (POS)-integrated payment processing solution. The new EDC features four retail-specific payment processing functions: EBT, check verification, U.S. and Canadian PIN debit. Aldelo's integrated payments partner, Mercury Payment Systems, is the sole processor supporting the payment transactions.
The enhancement creates new sales avenues and expands Aldelo's vertical and geographic market reach in three ways. First, the new EDC allows Aldelo Systems, best known for streamlining hospitality operations, to support integrated payments for retail sales. Second, Canadian businesses can now use Aldelo POS with integrated payments for hospitality or retail operations. Third, the new EDC addresses increased consumer demand for PIN debit payments, especially in Canada where PIN debit makes up nearly seventy percent of card payments.
