NetOp Tech Partnership Program Provides Partners With Tools To Grow

NetOp Tech Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Danish IT company Danware A/S, opened its doors less than a year ago and the company has already seen solid growth in its partner program and is helping to grow resellers of its NetOp line of products in North America. NetOp products include remote control, classroom teaching, computer security and Internet filtering software.

"We have a really great program going and it is continually growing," said Jason Vargovchik, NetOp Tech country manager for the U.S. "Our goal is to work with our channel partners in order to help them grow their business, which makes it a win-win situation for both of us."

The NetOp Business Partner Program is designed to give resellers the chance for significant opportunities for growth, attractive margins, co-marketing funds, global and local references (from Danware's Fortune 2000 customer base) and sales leads. Danware also assists partners with account management, certification and training and provides access to the NetOp Partner Portal, a Web-based site containing all relevant partner information and a broad range of materials for product promotion.

Vargovchik said that the reason the program is growing so quickly is because it makes so many resources available to partners and it is easy to use. The program has even helped some of NetOp Tech's partners to substantially grow their businesses by finding new opportunities in the market.

Remote Visions Inc. a San Francisco Bay Area – based NetOp partner has grown dramatically over the last six to nine months and has opened an office in Boca Raton, Fla. to handle service and technical questions from East Coast customers.

"We couldn't be happier working with the folks in the new Chicago office," said Tom Montgomery, president of Remote Visions. "The NetOp Tech online training academy allows my people to quickly get up to speed and become certified. The sales and technical support on the partner portal have been fantastic."

TorComp, Inc., another NetOp Tech partner based in Sanborn, NY. has also grown since the opening of the NetOp Tech office in the U.S.

"The Partner Portal has all of the information a reseller would possibly want in one place, like PDFs, lists of NetOp's competitors, their specs and prices and how they measure up against NetOp," said Matthew Adams, NetOp corporate and government sales representative at TorComp. "It's great because when a customer has a question, I don't have to call tech support. I can just look up the question on my own and answer the customer more quickly."

According to Adams, people really like to try things out before they buy them and the Partner Program enables us to send a trial through email, which is faster than the customer downloading the trial off of the Web site and speeds up the turnaround. "Plus, the customer gets free tech support with the trial and they love that."
