SimpleTab elevates the level of customer service offered to diners. Servers can use SimpleTab to accept an array of payment types, including EMV, contactless, and swipe card payments. This table-side solution also makes it easy and quick to split checks quickly, add tips, and print receipts all from one convenient device. This new solution expedites the checkout process, and because the credit card never leaves the cardholder’s hands, SimpleTab increases customer data security, eliminating the opportunity for identity theft and skimming. SimpleTab is currently enabled for the EVO-certified Ingenico Move/5000 terminal and is Wi-Fi enabled for mobility so that payments can be completed at the table or curbside.
For those who wish to utilize table-side payment services without extra hardware, there is SimpleTab QR. This solution offers a touch-free payment solution by placing a QR code on the customer’s check. Scanned with the customer’s smartphone, the customer can then choose to pay with a card or with a mobile wallet solution, like Google Pay or ApplePay. SimpleTab is incredibly versatile, allowing restaurants to take lightning-fast and ultra-easy payments tableside and curbside.
