Money 2020: Merchants Need Total Solutions Providers
Jameson Publishing and Business Solutions magazine President Jim Roddy interviewed Joe Finizio, CEO of the Retail Solutions Providers Association, in this Executive-To-Executive interview conducted at the Money2020 conference, held Oct. 6-10, 2013 at the Aria in Las Vegas.
In the interview, Roddy asks Finizio what emerging technologies he saw at Money 2020 that would have an impact on solutions providers. Finizio answers, “Mobile, mobile, mobile, mobile, and more mobile. If you’re not ready for it, not ready to engage in that, you’re going to be missing out on a big business opportunity.”
He adds that merchants need total solutions providers to help them sort through new technology for all areas of an enterprise. He says there was a recurring theme during the conference: “It’s not about the hardware. It’s really about the service you provide.”
