Mobile App Security Considerations, CompTIA Certification Options Featured In Upcoming Webinar

The impact of mobile technologies on the enterprise and the importance of securing mobile applications will be discussed by industry experts during a webinar set for March 20, according to CompTIA, the non-profit association for the information technology (IT) industry.

A 2013 CompTIA study found that a majority of companies allow their employees to use their own mobile devices for work. But as employees bring their own mobile devices into the workplace, they’re also bringing their own applications and services.

This is not a trivial matter. Companies must weigh the cost of operational disruption and potential security threats against the advantages.

Webinar speakers will address the criticality of security in the mobile app development universe.
