MegaSpirea And Emtex To Partner On A Revolutionary New Mail-Finishing Innovation
MegaSpirea International Inc, a mail systems technology company with offices in Norwalk, Connecticut, and Colmar, France, and Emtex Ltd, a Pitney Bowes company, the leading provider of document output management solutions, today announced that they would develop a next-generation mail-piece assembly system based on the organizations' unique technologies.
MegaSpirea has developed a dynamic, in-line envelope creation and finishing system, the Mailliner 100, which uses output from a continuous form printer to produce fully finished mail pieces in a single process without the added cost and handling of traditional envelopes.
Emtex performs the complex orchestration of constructing and optimizing the document pages, inserting a digital envelope image and adding finishing information into a single print stream.
Through integration with Emtex's Production Intelligence solution, organizations with legacy and modern print applications will be able to utilize the Mailliner 100 by inserting the envelope image, postal address and finishing marks directly into the datastream just prior to print without altering the underlying business application. In addition, the envelope image can be personalized with one-to-one variable data marketing messages, further increasing the business impact of the mail piece.
Ms. Clare Woodman, MegaSpirea's Chief Operating Officer, commented, "The integrity of the document is guaranteed by this workflow: the content always follows the envelope. The result is a ready-to-mail envelope produced at low cost".
In addition to the Emtex relationship, MegaSpirea International and Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Technologies have agreed to explore potential technology and business synergies during the initial roll out of the Mailliner 100 later this year.
"We are excited about this new opportunity to uniquely leverage our print stream technology and experience with legacy applications to streamline a new innovative approach to mail finishing", said Tim Moylan, President and General Manager at Emtex.
MegaSpirea International, headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut with a research and development and manufacturing facility in Colmar, France, creates new value in the mail business with the Mailliner 100, which reduces the complexity of mail creation by automating key functions involved in assembling mail pieces. The Mailliner 100 produces both the content and the envelope from one continuous roll of paper. The result is greater speed, substantially higher data integrity and security, and much more flexibility and a customized ready-to-mail piece at a much lower cost. Mailliner 100's technology also paves the way for widespread implementation of hybrid mail. For more information about MegaSpirea, please visit www.MegaSpirea.com.
