Senior Total Life Care (STLC) aims to ensure that elderly individuals within its community can remain in their homes longer, by offering a day program for health, recreation and rehabilitation. With the help of passive and active RFID technology, the organization can determine who is on-site at any given time, where he or she is located, and the location of that individual's paperwork and medication. About The Speaker:
David Smith is the Clinical Informatics Specialist for Senior TLC (STLC). David received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2012 from USC-Columbia. He worked the next four years in the emergency department before starting at STLC in 2016. In 2017, David received his Master’s in Health Informatics from UNCC.
