MaintenanceNet, Inc. Expands Executive Team With Addition Of Two Technology Industry Leaders

Service Revenue Generation Innovator Adds VP of Global Sales Justin Crotty and VP of Professional Services Steven Merten to Executive Ranks

MaintenanceNet, Inc., the leading provider of service revenue generation solutions, recently announced it has expanded its executive team with the addition of Vice President of Global Sales Justin Crotty and Vice President of Professional Services Steven Merten. Crotty is an IT channel luminary who established the first distributor-offered recurring revenue and cloud services business model, and Merten brings more than 20 years of experience and accomplishments with world-class enterprise software and services organizations to the company.

“It’s a big win for MaintenanceNet and our customers to have these exceptional executives join our team. Their strategic vision and experience will help us continue to lead the way in the service revenue generation market,” said Shayne Skaff, MaintenanceNet President and Co-founder. “Their leadership will be instrumental to our ongoing success as we enter our second decade of business, expand our global operations and identify new ways to drive revenue growth for our customers.”

A 20-year IT channel veteran, Crotty joins MaintenanceNet following more than four years with NetEnrich, Inc., exiting the company as its general manager and senior vice president. Prior to that, he held senior management roles at Ingram Micro, Inc., the global technology distribution giant, where he led the Services Division and Ingram Micro Seismic, and helped pioneer North America’s first IT managed and cloud services distribution model.

“The opportunity in service revenue generation is huge and growing, and MaintenanceNet has led the market with groundbreaking advancements in data visualization, channel enablement and service sales automation,” said Crotty, who oversees MaintenanceNet’s global sales teams, sales operations and sales resources. “My focus will be to further develop our business in North America and internationally, guiding our customers to adopt a more effective service-driven business model to align with today’s increasingly service-driven economy.”

Merten’s experience spans the healthcare and technology industries, where he has served in an executive capacity with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte & Touche, Avnet Technology Solutions and, most recently, Infor, the third largest provider of enterprise applications and services. In leading the professional services organization at MaintenanceNet, Merten’s overriding directive is to optimize the customer experience for clients worldwide.

“This is a time of tremendous growth for MaintenanceNet. In heading up the professional services team, my aim is to ensure that no matter how fast the pace of business, we are going above and beyond to make our customers’ success our top priority,” said Merten. “I look forward to putting new strategies in place to help our clients build world-class services practices that will allow them to establish new levels of brand loyalty and services business growth.”

In 2014, MaintenanceNet reported a record year, reaching more than $3 billion in service contracts now under management worldwide while launching the company’s new ServiceExchange Service Revenue Generation Platform. In addition, the cloud-based software and data intelligence innovator reported year-over-year revenue growth of 50 percent in 2014 as it expanded its reach to serve more than 300 distributors and 23,000 resellers globally.
