Kodak Announces Availability of New i80 Scanner and Kodak Capture Software Version 6.1

September 29, 2003-It has come to our attention that there may be some confusion in the specifications listed in the recent i80 Scanner press release. As a point of clarification, the following details the specifications of the scanner as it operates in both black and white and color:
  • Bitonal scanning speed: 35 pages per minute (ppm), with a true duplex speed of 70 images per minute (ipm)
  • Color scanning speed: 20 ppm, with a duplex scanning speed of 20 ipm at 150 dpi
In addition, Kodak Service & Support now offers Kodak Capture Software Maintenance Agreements to ensure the smooth operation of scanning systems throughout the year. The service plans cover all new software upgrades for the length of the agreement, allowing users to remain up-to-date with the latest improvements as they become available-maximizing the capture software investment.

Thank you in advance for including the clarified specifications in your coverage of the i80 Scanner. For more information on Kodak Scanners and software, visit www.kodak.com/go/docimaging.
