JMR Electronics First To Ship 21 TB In 4U And 8 TB In 3U By Adding Hitachi Deskstar 7K500 Disk Drives To SATA Product Line
JMR Electronics announced today that Hitachi's Serial ATA Deskstar 7K500 will be bundled with the JMR Electronics ORCATM and Fortra® family of SATA storage systems, providing the first 4U system to hold 21TB and first 3U system to hold 8TB. JMR Electronics (www.jmr.com) delivers innovative and fully-integrated turnkey interoperable Serial ATA storage solutions for the VAR channel, focused on Primary, secondary, disk-to-disk back-up, disaster recovery and archival storage.

The two companies have collaborated on extensive testing and product validation. JMR Electronics has selected Hitachi's Deskstar 7K500 as well as its other Deskstar products for bundling.
