Jatheon Technologies Taps Resellers To Promote Turn-key Email Archiving

One of the fastest-growing players in the exploding email archiving market recently announced a key step in its aggressive growth strategy — the rollout of its worldwide reseller program. Canadian-based Jatheon Technologies, Inc., named a "Top 10 Tech Company to Watch"* by Deloitte, launched its Global Business Partner (GBP) program to bring its Plug n Comply family of email archiving appliances to select resellers worldwide.

"Our channel partners are key to our international growth," said Kieron Dowling, president and CEO at Jatheon. "These are the people that small and medium businesses trust with their IT, and email archiving is quickly emerging as an IT hotspot for companies in regulated industries, as well as for those doing business with companies in regulated industries. With Plug n Comply, our partners can offer their customers a powerful system that is also the market's easiest to use."

Jatheon's GBP program formalizes the structure and incentives already in place with global resellers, including Softchoice, PC Mall, and Zones. It includes aggressive partner margins, recurring revenue sales incentives and 24/7 technical support.

"We've also made sure that in addition to sales and marketing materials, our partners receive on-site technical training, demo equipment, ongoing sales support, and an incentive program that offers quarterly and annual rewards, yearly partner conferences, and the Jatheon President's Club, exclusively for high-performing, partner sales employees," said Dowling.

The company credits the ease of deployment, management, and use of its solution for the success of its partner relationships to date — which now account for the majority of the company's new business. The Plug n Comply family of email archiving appliances offers clients a turn-key, in-house solution — effective within hours, not weeks — to managing all of their email data, including instant messaging and email attachments.

The straightforward implementation of Plug n Comply has clients singing Jatheon's praises: "Jatheon's greatest strength might be how easy and fast it is to deploy Plug n Comply and how quickly the team responded to our needs," said Mike Sliwinski, CIO of Teranet, which maintains the fully digital registry of all land titles in the Province of Ontario.

Jatheon's GBP program will expand the company's already stellar growth in the email archiving market, an industry that continues to explode in response to regulatory compliance requirements, merger and acquisition activity, and an increased focus on corporate governance. According to a 2007 study conducted by Palo Alto-based Radicati Group, the industry is expected to reach $1.3 billion in 2007 and grow to $6.1 billion by 2011.
