Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Whisper, promote the frequency of this growing trend.

Selfies aren’t a new concept. They date back as early as 1839, further justifying the evidence that people love to see themselves in all mediums. While film-photograph selfies may only reach a few eyes, social media sites make it possible to spread selfies to the millions. And this ability to share images with such a large group of followers takes no time at all.

Just like the smartphones upon which most selfies are taken today, digital kiosks can have a front-facing camera. Digital kiosks are a great way to get audience engagement because of their interactive capabilities. They allow audiences to control what information they wish to consume. The more viewers explore content through touch, the more engaged they become, creating a valued and entertaining experience.
