InfoExpress Set To Expand With Channel Partner Program
With endpoint security rapidly becoming a mainstream concern for enterprises of all sizes, InfoExpress, the leader in policy and configuration enforcement solutions, today launched the InfoExpress Channel Alliance Partner Program, a new, global reseller program created to capitalize on this growth. InfoExpress also announced three initial alliance channel partners serving major portions of the North American market: Axcelerate Networks, Inc., a Santa Clara-based solution provider; Topgallant Partners, a New England-based IT services and solutions firm; and VANDIS, an integrator specializing in secure network infrastructures.
Security consulting firms, systems integrators, solution providers, implementation services companies and others who join this program and become certified InfoExpress resellers receive an opportunity to deepen customer relationships, increase endpoint security revenue, and receive one of the highest reseller margins in the industry. Partners are able to enhance their portfolios with InfoExpress' CyberGatekeeper family of endpoint security solutions, enabling them to expand sales to their customers, and increase their value by strengthening their expertise in endpoint security through the comprehensive training they receive from InfoExpress. Partners also receive over 30 percent margins when reselling InfoExpress products.
"As the enterprise security market matures, there has been a shift towards more distributed security, with endpoint security taking on more prominence," said Todd Nakano, executive vice president for InfoExpress. "The channel initiative we have announced today will create many new opportunities for us around the world as this market expands, and offers very attractive benefits for our partners as well."
The world market for endpoint security solutions reached $271.7 million in 2004, growing 31.2 percent from $207.1 million in 2003, according to research by Frost & Sullivan, and is expected maintain this strong growth. One of the major drivers of this market is the increased awareness of the risks -- highlighted by several recent high-profile security breaches -- of not properly securing the endpoint. Along with the rapid growth of more sophisticated "blended content" threats, recent network admission initiatives by Cisco and Microsoft have further focused attention on the need to secure internal endpoints.
"With endpoint security becoming a vital concern for all enterprises, we are excited to add the InfoExpress CyberGatekeeper family of products to our portfolio, enabling us to provide our customers with one of the best endpoint security solutions on the market today," said P.J. Desai, vice president of sales at Axcelerate Networks. "As a company that has spent the last 10 years servicing the networking needs of companies who have helped shape the Silicon Valley, we pride ourselves on developing partnerships with leaders offering best-of-breed solutions that can solve our customers' problems."
"Wireless LANs are a vital component of business and government networking, and if a network isn't secure and highly reliable, it does not get deployed," said Jeff Jones, managing partner at Topgallant Partners. "InfoExpress CyberGatekeeper ensures that both wired and wireless endpoint systems are in compliance with current security policies before granting access to the network, and is a valuable addition to our lineup of network security solutions."
"Firewalls don't help much when the threat comes from within due to infected, misconfigured or otherwise insecure devices attached to the network, and the InfoExpress CyberGatekeeper solution ensures that only endpoints conforming to enterprise security policies will gain access to the network," said Andy Segal, CEO of VANDIS. "The CyberGatekeeper family is an important part of our best-of-breed solutions offering, and the new channel partner program gives us a fantastic opportunity to deliver additional value to our business, government, education and healthcare customers."
The InfoExpress CyberGatekeeper network access control solution uses an organization's existing network infrastructure to block network access for wired, wireless and remote endpoint devices that have outdated, unauthorized, misconfigured or missing security utilities, such as anti-virus programs and personal firewalls, or otherwise fail to comply with corporate-mandated security policies. Non-compliant systems are quarantined and remediated before being allowed access to the network, ensuring that viruses, worms, Trojans and other malware and vulnerabilities cannot adversely affect the network through PCs, laptops, PDAs and other devices that fail to comply with current security policies.
