InfoExpress Adds Channel Partners In Asia-Pacific Region
Continuing its expansion in the Asia-Pacific region, InfoExpress, the leader in network access control solutions, today announced inTechnology Australia, a channel provider of networking security technology products, and RedSentry, a Singapore-based value-added distributor focused on security products, have joined the InfoExpress Channel Alliance Partner Program. Along with Digital Technologies Corporation (DTC) in Japan, which became the first InfoExpress Channel Alliance Partner in the region last June, inTechnology and RedSentry will support resellers deploying CyberGatekeeper solutions to local and multinational enterprises and government agencies in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia.
inTechnology is a leading provider of endpoint integrity, wireless local- area network (WLAN) security, RADIUS/AAA and remote control/screen monitoring solutions to some of Australia's and New Zealand's largest corporations, institutions, telecommunications carriers and Internet services providers (ISPs). Its products are licensed and/or resold by leading channel partners across these countries. Through strategic partnerships with leading vendors, RedSentry provides best-of-breed firewall, VPN, content filtering, anti-virus, intrusion detection, security assessment and traffic management solutions to multinational corporations, government agencies, and other resellers.
"The CyberGatekeeper solution from InfoExpress complements our existing portfolio of 802.1x wired and wireless security solutions, and will assist in creating more opportunities for our current channel partners as well as help generate additional channel partners wanting to specialize within 802.1x and endpoint security," said Mark Winter, director of sales and marketing for inTechnology Australia. "InfoExpress has aligned itself with all the key players in this market space, so with CyberGatekeeper our channel partners are able to offer a solution their clients can deploy not only to safeguard their networks but also to future-proof their investment."
The InfoExpress CyberGatekeeper network access control solution uses an organization's existing network infrastructure to block network access for wired, wireless and remote endpoint devices that have outdated, unauthorized, misconfigured or missing security utilities, such as anti-virus programs and personal firewalls, or otherwise fail to comply with corporate-mandated security policies. Non-compliant systems are quarantined and remediated before being allowed access to the network, ensuring that viruses, worms, Trojans and other malware and vulnerabilities cannot adversely affect the network through PCs, laptops, PDAs and other devices that fail to comply with current security policies.
"Organizations in Singapore have a reputation for being demanding purchasers of security technologies, and require proven solutions that will maximize their existing investments," said Dexter Ong, director of sales at RedSentry. "That is precisely why we chose to work with InfoExpress, because with CyberGatekeeper we can offer our customers a mature, best-of-breed network access control solution that leverages their existing VPN and LAN infrastructures."
InfoExpress Channel Alliance Partners receive an opportunity to deepen customer relationships, increase endpoint security revenue and receive one of the highest reseller margins in the industry. Partners are able to enhance their portfolios and expand sales with InfoExpress' CyberGatekeeper family of endpoint security solutions, and the comprehensive training they receive from InfoExpress increases their value by strengthening their expertise in endpoint security.
"Our partnerships with inTechnology and RedSentry are part of our strategic global initiative to expand our channel presence in markets throughout the Asia-Pacific region and elsewhere," said Todd Nakano, executive vice president for InfoExpress. "We are extremely fortunate to be represented by such highly regarded organizations as inTechnology and RedSentry, and look forward to close and mutually beneficial relationships."
According to Nakano, InfoExpress Channel Alliance Partners receive a number of benefits, including up to 40 percent margin, sales tools and technical support, InfoExpress sales representatives and sales engineers to assist on specific client proposals, engagements and ongoing client satisfaction, Web site listing and joint marketing opportunities throughout the year, and assigned account managers and executive sponsors to ensure ongoing success.
