Huntington Bank To Offer Epson Scanners

CaptureOne Provides Top Check Scanning Accuracy and Reliability

Recently at the Association for Financial Professionals Show, Epson America, Inc., a leading supplier of value-added banking and payment solutions, announced that Huntington Bank will offer Epson's award-winning CaptureOne line of check scanners to complement its remote deposit capture (RDC) solutions. Available immediately to the bank's corporate and commercial customers, Epson's award-winning CaptureOne check scanner enables fast, two-sided check scanning with the highest MICR accuracy in its class and an industry-leading two-year warranty. In addition to offering Epson's CaptureOne check scanners, Huntington uses Epson's TM-H6000III for reliable printing and validation at teller stations throughout many of its branch offices.

"Epson's printing solutions have been a good fit for us due to the reliability and overall quality of the product," said Doug Hartsema, Director, Treasury Management for Huntington Bank. "As more customers move toward remote deposit capture, versatile solutions like this from Epson become even more important as we work to provide customers with a broad range of options to meet their evolving needs."

CaptureOne is available in 30, 60 and 90 documents per minute (DPM) as well as Single-Feed versions and is expressly designed to minimize MICR misreads and non-conforming images—eliminating the manual intervention required to reprocess misread checks. Epson's CaptureOne check scanner was awarded a 2009 International Forum (iF) Design Award, which recognizes excellence in product design and functionality from iF, one of the world's biggest and best-known design centers. The iF seal of fine design is an internationally recognized trademark, serving as a buyer guidance tool in markets throughout the world. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/EpsonC1.
