Karl Palachuk, keynote speaker at Channel Transitions VAR/MSP Executive Conference, powered by Business Solutions on Sept. 24 at the DoubleTree Chicago-Downers Grove, joined the panel discussion at the event and shared advice for overcoming some customer objections to managed services.
Palachuk said clients may object when you first discuss moving from the break-fix business model to managed services, which can be countered by explaining to clients the benefits of preventive maintenance. He also discussed objections related to security and Internet outages when clients consider moving to the cloud. “It’s just a matter of being prepared with those answers.” Palachuk said.
