Freedom RFID Names New Sales Director

Skip Vaccaro to head up Software Solution Sales

Skip Vaccaro, a 30 year veteran of the AIDC/POS, RFID and Digital Signage market and formerly with Symbol, Motorola as well as a Business Development Manager at BlueStar Inc., has joined Freedom RFID to head up their Software Solution Partner, GopherWerx. He will be responsible for the development on strong partnerships, alliances and strategic sales with an emphasis on the SouthEast Supply Chain industries along the Atlantic coast. “I’m delighted to be joining a seasoned, well trained organization that provides great products for our customers.”, said Skip. “Freedom RFID has a great reputation in this industry. They have a great business model that will help maximize their revenues and will help their core customer, resellers and partnerships.”

Freedom RFID has worked regularly with other developers and integrators to assist in custom builds or enabling existing MRP and WMS systems. Currently, they are launching a new division of their company called GopherWerx that solely focuses and develops flexible, out of the box software solutions for asset management and supply chain management. This is a natural progression from their RF Surveys and custom solutions for retail and manufacturing.

“We are very excited about Skip joining GopherWerx.”, said Adam Ramsey, CEO of GopherWerx. “Skip’s experience at a company like BlueStar will be extremely helpful as we strengthen existing relationships and leveraging new alliances. He brings energy and a wealth of knowledge to the team. We are glad to have a Sales Director with a vast experience in Solution and Reseller Management.”
