Exacq Technologies Integrates With Proximex

Proximex Exacq integration

Proximex partnership enables exacqVision users more flexibility to manage security system

Exacq Technologies, part of the Security Products business unit of Tyco, a leading manufacturer of video management system (VMS) software and servers used for video surveillance, has announced an integration with the Proximex Surveillint physical security information management (PSIM) solution. Surveillint connects and correlates information from disparate systems into one centralized environment to help mitigate risk, ensure compliance and lower total cost of ownership.

The exacqVision /Proximex Surveillint integration enables users to leverage the intuitive exacqVision VMS features within the Surveillint module. Video and events from the exacqVision server are delivered, synchronized and displayed through the Surveillint user interface along with events and notifications from a wide range of other physical security systems including access control, video analytics, perimeter security, storage solutions and more. With this integration, end users can further analyze and display live and recorded video with associated events and cameras (sensors) within a single platform, minimizing response time to security risks and threats.

Key features of the integration include the ability to manage the following VMS functions from the Surveillint interface:

  • Create soft triggers and event links
  • Detect cameras automatically
  • Link events to show video correlated with sensors pre-programmed in Surveillint
  • Control pan-tilt-zoom presets, snapshots and exported video

“The partnership with Proximex further develops our collaboration with PSIM solutions,” said Tom Buckley, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Exacq Technologies. “Combining our exacqVision VMS functionality into Surveillint provides a complete surveillance system for easily managing security.”

This integration requires exacqVision server 6.0 or later with a current exacqVision Professional or Enterprise license.
