D&H'S West Coast Technology Show Kicks-Off The 2011 Trade Show Schedule March 10

Close to 500 Attendees, a Networked Healthcare "Office Suite" Exhibit and Document Imaging Solutions Mark the Event, as D&H Helps VARs Gear-up For New Opportunities

D&H Distributing, the major North American Distributor of computer and consumer electronics products, announces it will begin this year's live trade show schedule with the West Coast 2011 Technology Show on Thursday, March 10, at the Pacific Palms Resort in Industry Hills, California. Close to 500 reseller representatives are expected to attend the event, which will feature more than 60 leading channel manufacturers including Acer, Cisco, HP, Intel, Lenovo, Microsoft, NETGEAR, Ricoh, and more.

The 2011 West Coast event offers six educational seminars – more than the distributor has offered in this region for the last four years. Sessions will be presented by D&H partners including Intel, Cisco, Microsoft, Kofax, Epson and gloStream, plus a seminar on SMB opportunities from SMB Nation CEO Harry Brelsford.

The show will introduce a new Healthcare exhibit in the form of a simulated SMB medical office, networked with the latest solutions and products to help establish a HIPAA-compliant environment, complete with all-electronic record keeping capabilities. This should include an HP and Intel infrastructure, a gloStream EMR and practice management software, among other products to be determined.

At the West Coast event, D&H will resume its exclusive Server Workshop Seminar Series, in which a select group of about 70 resellers are invited to participate in an interactive learning session with the D&H Server Solutions team. The distributor conducted these seminars prior to each of its 2010 trade events, addressing a different group of up to 80 customers each time, and received outstanding feedback over the course of the year. The success of this series helped inspire D&H's newly launched Solutions Lab, where VARs can attend interactive system-building and training workshops either live or via in-depth streaming video broadcasts.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and the exhibit floor will be open from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. One lucky reseller will win a Grand Prize of an Apple iPad with WiFi, keyboard and case. In addition, one reseller per seminar will win a Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard. D&H resellers can take advantage of special show-floor-only discounts the day of the event, which helps to make new solutions more affordable for the distributor's mostly-SMB customer base.
