D&H's Summer Mid-Atlantic Show Features New Tech, Healthcare, Virtualization & More
The Event Helps VARs Explore New Opportunities, Experience Tablet and VoIP Debuts, Get Face-to-Face with Vendors such as Microsoft, HP, Cisco, Lenovo, Intel, Acer, Etc.
D&H Distributing, the leading North American computer and consumer electronics distributor, announces that its 2011 Summer Mid-Atlantic Technology Show is scheduled for June 23 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center, Hershey, PA. Educational seminars at this day-long event cover topics such as healthcare opportunities, SMB servers, virtualization, electronic document management and unified communications, from industry leaders including Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Intel, Symantec, and additional partners.
Other channel heavy-hitters will have exhibits at the show, such as Lenovo, Seagate, D-Link, Western Digital, Toshiba and Samsung, who will be showing items like new tablet PCs, high-performance storage systems, wireless technologies and more. HP will show its new TouchPad webOS 3.0 tablet device for the first time at a D&H Show, boasting a "Touch to Share" capability that easily transfers digital media from pad to phone. Cisco will present information on the powerful new UC320 Unified Communications system for offices with fewer than 25 employees. And Microsoft will teach resellers about the server opportunities around the SBS 2011 Essentials solution.
The event will feature an Emerging Tech Pavilion, a proven favorite attraction for VARs at D&H's trade venues, to show off some of the most innovative new merchandise on the market. The hall will offer exciting items such as Innergie's power solutions; Isabella Products' mobile devices; SRS Labs, Inc.'s iPod- and PC-compatible audio products; and Great Call's Jitterbug phones, to name a few. As usual, the exhibit hall will spotlight an abundance of top component vendors, such as Cables-to-Go, Belkin, APC, Sennheiser, Kensington, Logitech and NVidia.
The distributor will also continue to promote healthcare opportunities for SMB resellers with a dedicated Healthcare Booth, featuring two complete end-to-end healthcare IT solutions. Vendor contributors to these two tech previews include gloStream, Microsoft, Intel, HP, Cisco, Tripp Lite, Kofax, Epson, Chief Mounts and Drobo. Several of these vendors are also offering presentation sessions at the show, allowing VARs to hear about the healthcare opportunity then see the solutions in action, all at one venue.
D&H's trade shows are designed to be active "selling shows," so solution providers will receive special discount pricing for purchases made on the show floor.
