Datalogic ADC’s new Gryphon GFS4400 2-D hands-free scan module can be integrated into self-service kiosks and other semi-automatic equipment. Its optimum motion tolerance allows for processing in automated applications and its depth of field makes reading possible in either hands-free presentation or swipe modes. The Gryphon GFS4400’s characteristics allow the scan module to read bar codes on any type of display, from a mobile phone to a PC, along with high resolution linear and stacked codes, as well as 2-D bar codes.

Additionally, the unit features a mounting system and includes a bracket for aiming adjustments on two axis’. The overall space requirements are reduced by the hardwired cable, eliminating the space used by a connector’s back shell. Constructed using high-impact resin to withstand repeated cleanings with solvents and disinfectant solutions, the sealed enclosure meets industrial standards for use in various industries, such as healthcare, retail, and manufacturing.
