D&H’s 2013 Show Introduces New England Resellers to the Latest Touch-Enabled Devices, Including Windows 8 Models; Plus Sessions on Mobility, Cloud, SMB Servers and More

D&H Distributing, the major North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, will conduct its New England 2013 Technology Show on August 6 at the Boston Marriott Quincy Hotel, Quincy, MA.  The company expects close to 500 attendees and more than 60 participating vendors for this event.  Registration begins at 11:00 a.m., with seminars initiating at 12:00 p.m. The exhibit floor opens at 3:00 p.m. 

The event will feature six seminar presentations from Cisco, Cloud Nation, HP, Intel, Lenovo and Microsoft, on topics including how to start a cloud solutions practice, next-generation mobile computing, Windows 8, touch-based technologies, servers, security and more.  Additional exhibitors include Acer, ASUS, Kensington, Linksys, Logitech, NETGEAR, Philips, Samsung, Toshiba, and Western Digital to name a few; plus a roster of accessories, peripherals and components from emerging and established brands.

Vendors who are making a first showing at the New England 2013 Technology Show include CODi (notebooks, cases, bags), NTT Advanced Technology Corp. (mobile telecomm), Ooma (VoIP), QNAP (storage), and Synology America Corp. (storage).

The Microsoft booth at the show will spotlight the latest Windows 8 touch-enabled devices, displayed as they would be utilized in a variety of real life settings (e.g., a coffee shop, an airport, a home office).  The exhibit will help resellers experience how the touch-enabled, cloud-empowered, multi-app Windows 8 interface shapes the user experience under various circumstances, to help inform the VAR’s sales strategies.

The show will also be marked by the D&H Solutions booth, staffed by D&H’s renowned Solutions Specialists team.  At the booth, the team will exhibit clips from a series of more than 40 video sessions that the Solutions Specialist team produced in-house at D&H, designed to educate resellers on topics from server builds to power protection to software solutions.
Resellers can also learn more about D&H’s Partner Services marketing resources at the show.  Attendees who have their picture taken with the Partner Services mascot will have those photos uploaded via a designated D&H Twitter hashtag, and can enter an additional prize drawing.

As always during its live trade show events, D&H will facilitate special show-day-only pricing for items ordered on the floor.  One winner per seminar will receive a Case Logic 30-inch XN Urban Rolling Duffel; and one Grand Prize winner will receive a 16GB Wi-Fi iPad with Retina Display plus an accessory bundle, sponsored by Logitech.
